Rear tailgate availability

Maybe 5 or 6 years ago, Brazilian tailgates (with the inset badge) were around £180, yet now they seem to have disappeared.

Is there a source?

Wayne in the unit next to mine bought one from heritage about 2 years ago but it must've been one of the last ones. 2nd hand or repair only now.

You would think someone would import them from Brazil .There must be loads still out there ?

 

Reminds me of the time vwh were selling brand new turn key type 4 motors for less than 2k.
