Rear Suspension Question

  1. Hi Guys , recently put my van on a lift and when I lift the van (79 bay) the passenger side rear spring plate seems to stay in the same position that it was on the ground then after a minute or too dongs back down on to its stop

Im thinking of putting adjustable spring plates on the rear of it and wondered this is a sign that I'm going to have issues

    many thanks

  2. Sounds like the shock absorber may be sticking - you could try taking it off to see if it makes a difference.

  3. the shocks need changing anyway , il get some ordered :chewie:

  4. You need to take the shock off and try it again ,bottom bolt will do...

I find it hard to believe the shock is the cause, the tortion bars are pretty powerful..

    Zed Gradually getting grumpier

It's the only thing with the leverage to slow it down?

Nope, jack it up and take the wheel off for access to the top bolt.
