rear brake hoses

  1. i have bought a set of new brake hoses 2 front 2 rear.

the front 2 are fine, havent checked the back 2 yet but i have noticed that one has two female connectors whereas one has one female and one male connector

is this normal or have they sent me an incorrect hose?

  2. can upload pics if my description wasn't clear, need to find out as i'll have to send one back if its wrong.

  3. Get under your van to take a look ;).

Sounds about right to me. Long time since of looked at mine, but the hose arrangements on the rear torsion tube are different to the two "normal" hoses at the front.

  4. yes quite correct, I've just changed mine

the 1 female 1 male goes on the near side of your van, male end goes to the three way connector above the torsion tube and the female end connects to the hard brake line and it should slot into the bracket on the swing arm bit (hope you got new retailing clips ?)

the 2 female ended pipe goes on the off side both ends need to be secured into the brackets (using clips) and the hard lines connecet each end

......pretty obvious which is what once you get under there

  5. the male fits on the t piece...Are you changing the fuel lines I bet the one over the gearbox needs it..;)
