The point of this thread, I think, is to highlight that - after a brief & unpleasant period in which a significant amount of personal abuse was thrown about without swift moderation from the powers-that-be - the pendulum may have swung too far the other way. The moderators may now be being too quick to identity a perceived slight, insult or insensitivity, and now members are finding themselves on an unpleasantly short leash. Anyway, that's how I see it. But then again, I'm sat in a pub in Whitby on my third pint so my judgement may be somewhat impaired. Give me 24 hours and I'll post something more considered...
if only all replies could be so articulate unfortunately it wasnt just percieved, i had complaints about a thread that i acted on! it unfortunately cant go both ways, we get moaned at for not doing enough, and now for doing too much!
