Radio aerial.

  1. Hi all

I have got a radio but no aerial. I have been using iPod connection.

I really want to put an aerial in but don't want to drill holes in the body to do it. Is there any other way apart from these sticking digital aerials that go on the windscreen that won't work anyway as I have a normal aerial socket in the radio.

    Thanks

Search eBay, amazon for Vandal Proof Interior Car Radio AM/FM Antenna.

I think Halfords stock them too.

Btw, why the reluctance for drilling, it's quite safe and easy to do, and you get a better antenna that way.

  3. you can get hidden aerials on ebay, about £2 from china, worth a punt, just waiting for one to arrive...
strangely enough my aerial is currently dangling behind the kick panel... and the radio has never sounded so good, ????

  4. mine is inside the windscreen, works fine

  5. Hi all

Not sure where the best place to drill, and not sure of how they look and is it another area that may be more susseptable to rust.

I may get one and try Stevem's idea of hiding behind the kick panel.

I'm going to busfest tomorrow so may try and get one there.

    Thanks

  6. I've just fitted a Blaupunkt powered, internal aerial fitted at the bottom of the windscreen with its "Wires" in line with the wipers on the outside, which disguises the installation nicely.
