r n r bed / seatbelts

One of the first few jobs on my vw will b to fit a r n r bed with seatbelts . We have two very young children so will need to get some decent seatbelts fitted. 3 point if poss . Can anyone give me any info about the seats and belts ?

 

Oh and also the front seatbelts are original would u recommend changing these to new ones ?

 

davidoft on here is selling some rear brackets you'll need to fit 3 point belts in the rear.

Rear seatbelts inevitably get tangled up in your RR bed causing much frustration. I recommend you humanely dispose of your children.

The rock n roll wire mesh style beds just kampers sell are they fairly safe if welded in there?

 

From what i hear u can purchas mounting points very cheaply which i assume u bolt of weld on my

 

for young kids maybe you should consider putting in a bar to mount an isofix base??

we are fitting one to take our grandaughter camping

I did'nt notice that.........ours is to be welded onto plates that are welded on the van

when we do it I'll post some pics
