Buffett died on September 1, 2023, age 76, at his home in Sag Harbor, New York, due to complications from Merkel-cell carcinoma, a rare and aggressive skin cancer. He did have a bar and restaurant in Key West which sadly was one of a small handful that I never stumbled out of during my youth . His name was legendary down there and from what I have just read online he will be greatly missed .RIP
