Did you have a modern stereo before?
If you did your bus may already have an ISO connector. If not you'll need to wire one in.

  3. This all I got with the head unit! Fairly self explanatory but no loom as there used to be years ago! image.jpg

  4. Thanks @Baysearcher ,nice engine by the way ;)
Nope no modern head unit so need new wires putting in. Which ISO connector do I by then?

  5. IIRC my stereo didn't come with the iso connectors either and the previous owner had a Pioneer cassette player (very old skool) with a completely different one. I bought this set:

and wired it up to the existing loom for the Pioneer (the wire colours happened to be the same luckily) and it worked fine :)

Just buy one that matches the pin layout shown on the paperwork and wire it in. Halfords sell them and should be able to tell you which one you need!

  7. Thanks @Neptuneblue have looked on amazon. @Baysearcher I'll check their site an see what the price difference is :)

Looking at that amazon link I'm guessing they'll be cheapest by far!

  9. That's what I thought should be here sometime end next week :)

  10. You will need a DAB antenna if you want decent reception. Internal screen mount ones are crap, but the external screen mount type that work through the glass (stick on the outside, no bodywork holes) are good.

  11. I bought me of those that go onto the windscreen but its internal, reviews are good but will see. Where's the other aerial from, I didn't want to start drilling holes if possible for good signal.

  12. I have the internal one on my Elise and it's rubbish, worth a try though.

This type are really good, considering you don't have to drill. I have one of these on another vehicle and it gets good reception everywhere, while the internal only drops out a lot. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DAB-Aeria...?pt=UK_Sound_Vision_Other&hash=item20d69e1f26

  13. I'm sure they are at a cracking £65!! Lol
Have manage to sort out the iso connector by ringing Halfords and bollocking the duty manager! He's given me a free one! ;) Sorted, thanks guys :)
