Hi all, need some advice, i need to put a proposal to my landlord in order to use this unit, and so far i have no idea what to do with this plant and machinery inside. What i want to do is find a buyer for the 4 pullen water pumps, and the ac generator etc and see what to do about the massive combustion heater also. The pipework will probably go to scrap but will need capping off and draining first. Here are some pics, this room hasnt been touched since about '86 heater ac generator 4xpumps the same as this. There is no reason why the pupms and generator would not work but the heater engine not so sure as it is way out of my league. lol. I need to come up with a proposal like i said, and so will probably get tenders for removal of all the stuff, then use the money to buy a roller door for the fron thus freeing up another unit for them in the future and for me right now. Anyway, your thoughts please. PSG
Not sure what you are after what do you mean by a perposal Most of that stuff is scrap if it hasent moved in nearly 30 years and i would unbolt it all myselve and get the scrap man in should get a bit. Has it been drained or is it still full of water if its drained you might get somthing for the boiler sections but only if you can find someone with one the same that might want spares.
Sell it to Majorhangover to fit to his next Bus, that'll outdo his Propex any day of the week! On a more serious note, I'd get in someone like Clarke Fussells or Sanderson Wetherall to shift it for you (look them up on Google), failing that just get a scrappy to drag it all away.
I was looking at the generator wondering if it will bolt straight onto an 091 gearbox its only 4 bolts
