Disconnect drag link, wheels in the air.
Turn steering wheel lock to lock the back exactly half way.
Adjust box so you feel a little drag at centre position
Note exactly where steering wheel is and with it in this position and wheels dead ahead adjust drag link and reconnect.
Take for drive and note if straight ahead is where you thought - i.e. the steering wheel in it's "centre of box" position.
If not park up with what you now know is wheels ahead, disconnect drag link, turn steering wheel to centre position and re-adjust the drag link to suit.
You may have to repeat the last bit.
When all done and happy remove steering wheel and put it back on straight with the cancelling tab same side as indicator switch.

It's essential to get steering box centred with wheels dead ahead to have any chance of tight steering in a straight line. When you're cornering is doesn't matter if it's a bit loose.
Even more essential is to have the wheel geometry right so it goes straight all by itself. My westy alway had play in the box, but with the geometry spot on it really didn't matter that much until the wind blew the wrong way!
