Which bit mate? If you remove the trim panel you can touch the back of the rear quarter. Assuming you want to get to the back of that and give it some hammer and dolly love? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You can just about see it on the far side. Depends how high up your dent is as it’s quite tight between the two skins at the top. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thanks, much appreciated. I have lived with it as a reminder of my exuberance, for quite a while now, I may do so for a little while longer.
That could be sorted by a dent repair chap They have pins that they bond on nowadays to enable them to pull out dents then the glue is dissolved afterwards
Roof repair section made up today and welded in, I just need to hammer the guttering lip over and make one more repair for the lower edge. Made my first few passes of filler over the rear quarter. I’ll probably shape the O/S front quarter and then get this entire side into epoxy and high build primer in the next few weeks.
It’s always satisfying seeing things starting to go into primer. O/S, bonnet, engine cover and nose all epoxied and high build primed today.
Just caught up on the build. Looks really good mate, quality job - love the interior as well! Nice job!
Getting there with prepping the baja’s fibreglass bolt on panels for paint. Nose and engine cover block sanded and ready for top coat now. I need to get a jog on with getting this ready for paint if I want to get it painted this year. If anyone is ever bored on a Saturday and wants to help strip some paint give me a shout!
Baja roof all bare metalled today. Exposed a few more holes around the windscreen and rear window apertures but nothing too bad. Bonnet all blocked flat and ready for top coat:
Got the roof, engine bay and passenger door into primer today. Nice to see the outside of the shell all in one colour again! I've also sourced a decent 1600 engine to go in it to save me having to rebuild the 1600 that came with the project which has audible end-float.
A hot sweaty mess today stripping the inside of the baja ready for primer. Reprimed the passenger door and got the front wings all primed too.
