Here you go @paradox. Apologies for the poor picture quality. Baja HXs powdercoated black and have been ran for a year or so. I got all of the tinware as well as the rocker covers and bailing arms done too. You can just about see the VHT paint on the exhaust section. Van HXs. These were powdercoated in a grey similar to the original colour and have been on for 5 years or so. They're a little grubby but still in good condition. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Got all my tinware and shroud powder coated for a tray of Stella. Looks nice and worth it. I just painted the heat exchangers with BBQ paint.
I paid 250 for ceramic coating my pacesetter exhaust about 6/7 yrs ago. Still looks good https://thelatebay.com/index.php?th...pdate-more-camping.35599/page-13#post-1221560 for my heat exchangers though i didn't think it was worth it - my temporary/repro set i just did in hamerite - didn't last particularly well (stone chipped and surface rust, burned off the hot parts) but cheap/easy to do. for my OG ones i used rustoleum with several layers of rustoleum undercoat first - these are lasting much better. I would say if you're already having a bunch of stuff powerdercoated i'd just add these to the batch. Yes ceramic will prob be best but a whole lot more money.
Many hours and beers went into making that thing. Hot rod / beetle mate made it. I hacksawed, he designed and welded Equal length and equal bends
