Hi what year is the vw automatic badge from please?

 

Think it's off a 73, sorry just noticed centre pin is missing

 

Do you, or anyone else know, if the same badge would have been on a 78 van or would it have been a different style. We have a 78 Moonraker automatic. Thanks
