We have now moved into our lovely new home but just as the sun has started to shine we have been over shadowed by a dark cloud! Unfortunately some blood tests I had last week were not good so now I have to have some bone marrow removed to check for bone cancer! I am so scared so am asking for your positive vibes prayers or any other intervention you can send my way that all will be ok. Colin and I are trying hard to stay positive. I know this is very cheeky to ask but I have always found this site to be so supportive and I wouldn't ask if I wasn't so afraid and in need if your help. Thank you Deb
Hang in there Deb ..and Col Hoping all goes the right way with the results and that they are a positive outcome and alls well. It's an old saying but..there is 'always light at the end of the tunnel'. Wishing you both the very best of outcomes and for your new future in your new home...keep smiling guys. Dave and crew xx
Good luck, take every day as it comes and make sure you try and stay positive and don't let it get you down. Thinking of you.
Hi Deb, I had a bone marrow test back in July so I know what you are going through. A series of blood tests have shown my red blood count is rising while the cells are getting smaller. It has enlarged my spleen which can be uncomfortable. I had to have the marrow test done to rule out Polycythemia which is a genetic mutation which can lead to leukemia. Luckily the test came back normal so I had to go for a CT scan, just waiting for results. They are not worried at all so I am not worried. If there had been a problem with the CT I would have been called in by now. The test doesn't take long, and you will be home in no time. Don't let it get to you and I promise everything will be ok!
I'll definitely be thinking positive thoughts for you over the next few weeks - good luck and keep positive yourself
Bless you guys we will all be sending good thoughts from this end! Keep positive and look after each other. x
