Hi all - the fabric on my poptop is quite tight and although the supports do lock out I worry they may spring back and collapse with the kids in there - does anyone ave any tips or mechanisms they have bought or made to help lock the joint so it cant spring back? Just wondered. Thanks.
Cheap and cheerful, you could cut some "V's" into some wooden stays, or maybe use gas struts to help lock it open and also that would help to open it too
Children are very resilient. Just put helmets on them and forget about it. I'm kidding. Seriously, don't worry about it. You'll hear their screams in plenty of time to save them before they have to start chewing off limbs to escape. : Ha! Kidding again. Your top is supposed to be tight, it won't collapse and they aren't really that heavy anyway. Have a couple margaritas before bed and relax.
