Weve got a spare dash front. Will have a look tomorrow and see how good it is. If its any good will stick a pic up to see if its any better than yours
I like the idea of fitting the gauges to the dash it looks right. I've had to hang mine off the bottom as it's padded. I suppose I could fit to dash but I'd have to make very tight accurate holes. Lazy me.
If you're keen, someone makes a slightly curved plastic sub panel that fits below the radio and holds three small VDO-sized gauges. Looks better IMHO than mounting them straight on the panel.
That's the one! Looks better than just mounting on the panel (which is curved, anyway). Very tidy-looking dash, mate
