Hi All, As per, i've got a list of camper related tasks as long as my arm to try and squeeze into the weekend. I've got to: Carpet the rear firewall and over the engine bay areas Ply the area between the rear inner arches for a bed mount and trim it with carpet so it looks pretty cut in and install an eberspacher and fuel tank for it Mount up a 3/4 bed finish trimming the interior panels and metalwork with carpet final fit my units wire up electrics and plumb in sink, gas and fridge So a bit to do! Anyone else spannering this weekend?
Because I work weekends I take Monday and Tuesday off so no spanners for me going to Brancaster for the two days. staying in South Creake for the Monday then a steady meander down the A149 eventually getting back home sometime on Tuesday, weather reports look good so should be a good couple of days, still taking the leccky heater for the evening and night though.
Suns shining here currently and the forecast looks promising! Will be nice to not be getting soaked while working on the bus for a change
Me n Will off somewhere tonight, not far just a dad n lad chill. Christening to go to on Sunday- and the weathers gonna be nice
No spannering for me, just looking at flowers & maybe getting lost on Sunday while I wander over to Old Parliament House to look at German Autofest here in Canberra.
Going to West Ham tomorrow after taking my boy to have his hair cut. He's just finished his first week of infant school while sporting a barnet like the Monkees' Davy Jones. At some point I am going to rewire my Propex thermostat. I did it at the start of the summer (you may have seen the panicky posts after I blew the fuse) but only had enough cable to get it to sit next to one of the rear cupboards. Now with 5m of newly-purchased five-core in my armoury I can reseat it up front.
Brighouse this evening to celebrate Paley's Birthday in style, return home sometime tomorrow when able, fly to Pisa Sunday morning at 7.30am and then on to Florence for a bit of relaxation
Yes, due to me having to evacuate my workshop due to a leaky roof frying the electrics I am back to my favourite build spot, the dining room table! So I have to finish this tonight and tomorrow, then get the shed fixed up.
Nothing VW this weekend. Driving down to Huntingdon so the Mrs can do a triathlon on Sunday. Whilst she's running around it's coffee and bacon cobs for me. This keep fit malarkey is tough!
putting bus back together, dude is interested in it thou I told him he will have to supply a complete carb system and all the trimmings (cos I am keeping the ones it came with)
I, unfortunately, HAD to come to Spain for a business meeting yesterday and today. The sun is shining and glorious. I have just got back to Barcelona airport to........... Collect my girlfriend so we can spend the weekend in Gaudi's playground!!
