Hi, there is a metal pipe which runs along the top of the engine bay & stops in the middle, i think it comes from the side vents at the rear of the van (i'm guessing) would anyone know if this pipe should be attached to anything & what is it for? thanks
It's part of the fuel tank breather system, a very basic way of reducing emmisions in the early 70's. it should make it's way into the airfilter, but they often get left off if someon's fitted an aftermarket filter.
