Does anyone have a picture of their heater control lever setup behind the dash, preferably with the cables in place. It's a right hand drive with type 4 engine. My manual says the middle red lever should control the heater valves and fan but it's set up so the outside one does. A picture of the original setup with the position of the fan switch would really help. I have a feeling mine has been apart and not put back together with all its parts.
Unbelievably I do have a pic I took when my dash was out - 1978 RH Drive type 4 engine. The outside lever does control the fan (you can see the switch in the photo). The handbooks/manuals are generally written for LH Drive so there is some confusion. My handbook has a rider for RH Drive which explains this (a bit obtusely). The retaining clip had been removed so the first cable end had come out of its locator. Hope this helps?
