I spilt a little petrol yesterday while changing tank fuel line. Quite a big little bit really and I had to abandon fleeces and come home to change. Since then my nose has been running and I can't stop sneezing. Any conection or pure coincidence?
Soaked into fleece sleeves which I took off as soon as I had the pipe clamped up. I was only soaked for about a minute. Google says people sniff petrol to get high! Eek! The after-effects are runny nose and sneezing, but I didn't get wobbly or anything.
Are you getting urges to go and sniff it again? you may be addicted and should immediately talk to FRANK http://www.talktofrank.com/
Soz bruv if "No Wobbly" you say? ,change not thy fleece ,change fuel station ,there selling skank fuel !
It's possible that you've burnt away some of the lining in your nose breathing in the petrol for a prolonged period. it should wear off. That or you've got hay fever
Ethanol. Petrol's not like it used to be when it had Lead in it. I could sniff that stuff all day long. Used to ride miles on me bike with the petrol cap off of the tank just to smell the stuff. This new fangled petrol is rubbish, who knows what it's doing to our brains if it rots petrol lines from the inside out. I'd get a check up from the neck up Steve, if I were you.
