    The Rollright Stones are a stone circle near to my dads. As a teenager I used to go there, and still do when I’m back down. Legend has it that if you count the same amount of stones twice in a row you turn to stone. Thankfully I’ve never been able to do it.

    There are more stones across the road to see. Although it’s a country road now it’s on a straight and you have to be careful crossing. With HGV use it will be more dangerous and not exactly peaceful.

    Best if people lodge their objections direct to the council, as one petition, no matter how many signaturies, is usually considered a single objection.

    Completely right Pony, individual letters carry more weight. I am assuming the cabinet member for transport also lives in Chipping Norton? Cynical but is usually the case!

    don’t know. Maybe David Cameron has expanded his repertoire into HGV haulage! He lives in Chippy. That or it’s J Clarksons fault! :)

    Signed; will you sign this one to help object to the proposed fracking on my doorstep? It's unaffected by the current moratorium as the application was made before that came into place and will go for approval before Lancashire CC in March. Thanks.
