i'll bear it in mind but think one of the van drivers at work will be going that way this week, if not i'm sure i can manufacture a trip that way.....

was watching 2 sets of seats on e-bay (both t25 but same fitment) one set in the correct colour for mine £26.01 one set in grey £62.00 so i'd say £50 was fair really, as i said earlier they're worth whatever on the day.

  3. Rick - dont you need your passenger seat to be on runners? (do you have a swivel or am i mistaken?)

the runners are still on a swivel the same - i have swapped driver to passenger on mine and it's the same set up, basically i'm hoping to make a good set of 2 out of these and the 2 in my van then get them recovered whilst using the "worst" two to keep the van useable if that makes sense?

  5. My point was that on non-swivel buses the passenger seat isnt on runners and requires a bulkhead to fit it.

Only one is suitable for you van( the drivers), the other seat frame is completely different

poo. oh well we will soon see what i can do with them.

surely the back is the same and some of the base will be able to be bolted onto the runners i have?

  11. The passenger one hooks on to the bulkhead behind and slots into a notch welded on the seat tub.
In the picture, the passenger seat (on left of pic) is propped up by a bin. Without support it won't stay upright.

You can back out if they won't do for what you need ;)

The base and the back on the passenger seat are different, as far as I know you can't make them fit, but the pads etc may fit

  13. Brilliant ,I'll pick them up tomorrow NB

can you look at the passenger side one and tell me if you think it would be possible to make the good parts off it fit onto the crappy drivers one? or possibly take a picture of the bottom of the passenger one - as long as i get one good seat out of the two it should be ok for my plan but you're saying the drivers one is the one with the broken spring and dodgy base so i'd hope to put the passenger base on the drivers runner?

  15. The drivers one is fine except for a dodgy spring (it may just need fettling with) and the rip in the fabric - I've got some cheap seat covers (black) that you can use on that if you wanted as a temporary measure - I'll throw them in. The passenger seat under side looks like this:

to be fair as long as i can get one "good" seat out of the two i can keep my van useable while i get mine refurbished (maybe one at a time?) the drivers side you have looks like it will fit exactly but as said above that one looks like it won't adapt, i'll still have them though if that's ok although if someone wants the passenger side one before i can collect then feel free to try to do that so it helps someone else?

  17. cool :)

ok, so it's up to you if you want to try and offload the passenger one to someone if not that's ok and i'll continue to text you as and when i have a driver close (it's possible monday of next week at the moment but this may change!)

  19. I guess if anyone makes an offer of £25 for the passenger one separately I could let that go and then the drivers one to you would only be £25 :)
I do want both gone though if possible to a) clear space in my garage and b) help towards my engine repair costs
