Appearance/shape wise yes. From the electrical/switching function probably (or why would VW change it?) but I'd have to look at the relevant wiring diagrams.

 

July 72 and earlier are dash mounted 3 position switches. Aug 72 onwards are these then around late 74 they changed again. Afaik

 

It's the wipers that are dash mounted indicators have always been column mounted, I've had 1960 busses in with indicator stalks on column.

No, the one you photographed is the '72-'74 one as per the NOS photos I put in the thread mentioned by me earlier. It is often referred to as the "paddle" type indicator.

 

Did anyone buy this As it's been ended early!! Hate people that do that esp when he wouldn't split as he had loads of interest!!
