Paradox, you will like this Stick!!

@paradox I cut it while wild camping in me local wood, going back this weekend so Im hunting more!!! Have been camping 5 times this year and not stayed on a site yet!!!

 

Now that is what I'd call a stick.

 

Cut this one 20yrs ago in the same wood

 

So what is it that makes them grow twisty?

 

Honysuckle, there is a brook with a small valley and theres loads in there, you have to catch them when they are big enough to be strong, if you leave it too late the honysuckle kills the branch or sometimes the whole tree

 

I can just see when your older strolling into the local and telling tales about your stick

Is there any prancing around naked at midnight in the woods, and are girls involved? If so I need to get myself a wibbly wobbly stick and a pointy hat.

Probably one of the more exiting things thst happens around here, Im not saying that like its a bad thing.

I do have to say that possibly the root cause of my angst and indignation may be the lack of a stick. I may have to look into this!

 

The bottle club meets in our pub twice a month, they bring in bottles they have found that are "interesting " new and old and talk about them while drinking real ale, I think talking about your stick is debatably more interesting.

 

Stick envy is possibly the cause of a lot of modern societies problems.
