i know what your saying about painting stuff up and making it look nice brings your spirits up seeing stuff shiney ;D i had 10 days solid shotblasting, priming and painting underneath the shell and in the cargo area before vanfest, totally transformed the look of the van made it look a lot more finished
I wish i had a place to do work to that standard but im restoring mine outside Needs must though and you can only do the best with what youve got at least my bus will be in a lot better condition than when i bought it lol Is it a bay your restoring or is it your username your restoring?
if you saw my workshop it's the next best to outside but you make the best of what you've got! it's a 75 twin slider kombi was in a pickle to start with but now very nearly a solid shell again had a fire in 95 and not been touched till i got it last year vsolid underneath but rotten on top due to being stood out in rain but and not driven on salty roads? going to have a few custom touches when it starts coming together p.s. i've got a 13 window deluxe as well as my camper while doing the bay resto hence screen name
