My Bus has some filler in a dent in one of the panels (take out the panel cards inside and you can see a dent about 1/2" deep about 18" long) its a car park ding which was filled with "bondo" before it left the Sates. Its cracking a little and I want to rub down re-do the edges and paint. I have matching paint mixed by Auto Paints which I have checked out and is a good match - my question is, as this paint requires a clear coat, how do I tell if the present paint is coated or not. Stupid question I know but I've never tried to blend paint in before, I've always painted a whole panel. Cheers for your input ....Bryan
This is the very reason I didn't use two pack base n clear. Depending on how fussy you are it'll never look right. I went with solid to match in with the OG. It's dearer and harder work but for me it was worth it. In the end though I pretty much had the whole thing done Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
