Paint codes

How do I find out the paint code for a bay?
It's been painted in the past but its still in the original colour as I found it again beneath the layer of filler. I think I might be dove blue??

Is there a silver sticker behind the passenger seat, stuck to the bulkhead?

 

Have you got an M plate

 

^this. If you can find the "M-plate", which lists the van manufacturing options, it'll tell you what the original colours were. Look for a riveted plate with numbers pressed into it. May be behind the driver's seat or on the metal fresh air trunking under the dash by the fuse box.

There may be more than one plate. Look for the one with a block of numbers and letters on, several rows of 'em.

 

I'm guessing that this is the m-plate??

Nope. Look on top of your fresh air duct near the fusebox.
