Own a classic Mini?

It deserves better than that

 

With luck, next year after I've finished restoring my brothers 3 Chaly's, My two 400/4's, my 3500 P6 and the beetle, I can finish it

 

My first car was one that had been sat in the garden of a family friend - the front floors ended up being made out of beer trays from the working mans club my gran worked in

My dad had the MG Metro Turbo, used to make me laugh with the 'turbo boost' display that showed when the turbo was kicking in lol

Funny - my first car was also a mini van. Paid £20 for it but couldn't get it thro the first MOT due to rusted sub frame

I once had a test drive of a second hand 1275GT. Couldn't believe how much poke it had but like an idiot did not buy it. Almost same price as a boggo 1 litre new one which I bought instead.

This is currently my drive and back garden (yes I have a 4m x 4m gazebo in my back garden) but I don't have any photos of the shed where the other 400/4 is stored (in parts





And this is at a friends yard

 

The wife was not happy when the bikes and other parts were lined up whilst I pumped up the mini's tyres

 

I have got the same precast garage as that my roof went funny and crumbled

 

had about 10 minis over the years and have 2 still a mk2 saloon and a sexy clubman estate

 

Got a spare set of good mk2 saloon seats hanging about here

 

Seats are the one thing I do have! Lol cheers Dave

I have a good friend up In peterborough that has a garden full of old mini parts if anyone's interested.
