Over Engine Metal Panels

These fit over the engine with some insulation in between, came from a 73 if it makes any difference, good condition, £20 ono willing to post at cost.

 

Will these fit a 79, does anyone know? ???

i'm no expert but i'm sure these are a year specific fit mate, if you take a look at your cardboardy ones you will see that they are shaped around the inspection hatch cover, where as these cover the entire area. I've got a set and will try and modify/cut them to fit.

 

just found an old ad i was watching on thesamba, they seem to think that they are for 71-72 year type?

I think chris they will not fit yours ,as having an inspection hatch and the type 4 heater fan mounted up there .

My type 4 72/73 with hatch had the fibre board ones which i replaced with exact copies from 3mm alluminium ( made by me )

 

no not really that was a lot of holes to punch i only did it so the firetec would fit properly

 

They came off a tax exempt January 73 and they wont fit a 71 either
