so i tried to catch fish and got a bacterial infection in my kidney then i got some other infection and not quite over that and today when i pulled the toaster out it gave me an electric shock from the wall socket and a fireball engulfed my hand and now i have got to go to the salisbury burns unit in the morning for a possible skin graft....which ummm is inconvienent as city link are due to pick some playmobile and bear factory parcels up off me tomorrow, i am not sure the bus has enough fuel to get there, and i refuse to have a general anaestesia as ive been awake for 3 cesarians and just want to go there and get home a few hours later lol...arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh hope thats the three things over and done with this year and that stings like a biatch lol
its my right hand the one i paint fine lines with grrrrr its not going to stop me painting ...even if it hurts like crap lol
Skin graft sounds nasty. Maybe give it a rest for a bit eh? Any chance of a picture? Swop you for a part cut through finger pic? You go first...
First off hope your hand is okay but also save yourself a quid and forget about doing the lottery this week.
maybe i should have done the lottery then i could get a new consumer unit instead of something that requires fuse wire :O...and obviously a stick and a 6 foot long arm to go near LOL!
I hope the stinging dies down soon and you can get back to painting. You're right, there can't be any more bad luck on the way for you.
Sorry Jelly your hand's very sore and a bit mangled. We did start a 'show us vw related injuries' thread on the old version of the site, it had all kinds of 'eauwww' and kinds of pictures, maybe we can start it up again as we seem to have some fine examples of 'how not to do it's'. (the toaster injury can be sort of vw related, just tell people you were putting out an engine fire - we won't say anything :-X)
i think cooking bacon would be more apt as a distinct burnt meat smell ...ewwwwwwww now which one of you lot is an electrician and lives close to hampshire....! i has a job for you!
You wear underwear in the kitchen! I always go commando when cooking. I would suggest something non conductive and not flammable.
