WANTED Original seats...

  1. I know this is likely a long shot, but I'm after some original seats for my '73 bay. Current seats are damaged, not original and not very comfortable...

    Here's hoping!

  2. I don't have any for sale but I purchased some for my 73 from here: http://www.sussexkampers.co.uk/ mine weren't advertised I emailled to see what they had. I wanted some I could re-cover so they might have some in varying stages as to how much TLC they need but they were a reasonable price.

  3. thanks for the heads-up...I'll give them a try :)

  5. I have a pair of originals from a 1974 bay. Good condition but not perfect. Asking £150 collected from Bicester.

  6. I've no idea what runners my existing seats are on...do these ^^^ have runners included?

  7. There's really not much to the runners , they might still be there under your seats
There are none on the passenger side just Brackets on the tubs and one on the bulkhead
On the drivers side they are fairly thin side on U shapes that the seat slides into and on one side only some shallow teeth to lock the seat in place

Heres the brackets for the passenger seat

  8. Runners that are attached to the van chassis are not included but the seats are complete as removed from the van. If that makes sense.

  9. I've just taken a look - it seems the passenger brackets are not present - and the driver side runners are either hidden by the new seat runners or (which I suspect) they've been ground off in the past :( I'll do some more investigation when time permits

  10. The seats above are 'late' so have runners similar to that found on a T25, early seats have different runners. Still, nice seats, just find a dead T25 for the runners
