Anybody know much about parts for original seats? I think the spring has broken in my drivers side back piece and wondered if you could buy parts anywhere?
You could try calling "newton commercial in leiston, suffolk" they refurb seats and are generally helpful, or you could possibly do as i have, i used the inner ( brass ) part of an electrical connecter block , the type that is a tunnel with screw at each end , simply clamped the ends in the block , spring rejoind, job done, feels no different to sit on then before it broke.
