Order or Chaos?

Discussion in 'General Discussion' started by Owen Snell, Jan 19, 2013.

  1. I like chaos, making it up as I go along, decisions on the hoof, going with what pops into my head, no long term planning. My Mrs likes order, having a routine, knowing what she will be doing in the day, getting the holidays booked well in advance etc.

How do you live your life and would you prefer to do it differently?

i'm one for order too, i like routine and organisation i think i may be a tad ocd to be honest - drives my mrs mental - she's the opposite of me goes with the flow always late - drives me mad.

  3. I like routine and order and tidyness boardering on ocd at times but also like the buzz of doing spontanious stuff

  4. Being self employed for nearly 30 years , routines have been a no no for me. I like to be organised when i know what im doing, and if something needs to be bowt i have to buy it ,not spend weeks and weeks thinking about it. I would never say i could or would do something if i knew i couldnt,i like to finish something i start and hate bullmarmiterz that say they will do something by ?? and dont have any intention of doing it.
Sometimes i get thrown on here ,when i get different veiws or opinions of a product i want to buy. I always like to know what im doing before i start ,and do it to the best of my ability. I love cooking but dont like others hovering when i am , hence sometimes ::) the kitchen looks like a bomb has hit it :- coz i wont let others help ???But i do clear it up after too ???
Yep Betty is the opposite ;D.
If i could change one thing about me? it would be not to worry about being late for others, but thats my mum in me , she says" ha people who say it doesnt matter if they are late, arnt the ones who are having to wait" ;D and "yeh be late for your plane when your going on holiday n see if it doesnt matter then " ;D. ;D Bless er  yeh i should worry about being late. Betty hurry up ;D

  6. Im with Barnyrubble on this, i've worked for myself for a long time, and find order imposible . life cannot be organised when other people get involved, the more people , the more variations.
I know people who are unbelievably organised , and yet it only takes a little disruption for there lives to fall apart
The film" clockwise " is a perfect example.
And as for cooking, recipes are just a guide , and not to be taken seriously.
I dispise routine and I thrive on chaos and wouldn't have it any other way
