I am thinking of getting a set of tyre trims such as these (the black and white ones, not solid white): https://www.europaspares.com/product/0/16205/Whitewall_Tyre_Wheel_Trims.html I know they are not period correct but not really fussed about that, and I like the look on the few I have seen. Would I be better of saving me pennies and getting white band tyres if thats the look I want?
If they are just tyre flaps that fit by deflating the tyre, inserting flap and re-inflating, avoid them like the plague. They damage the tyre wall. Some say they don't but anyone is more than welcome to come and see what they did to mine. Look up Mr Whitewalls.
