Dropped the records down hard to ensure the grit is hammered in. But the smell of the burning dust on the valves and the mellow tone made up for it.
Well, I just got given one like in the pic. Sharp SG 220E. 1978, and it sounds great, from a deceased estate, along with a load of old 70’s stuff!
