  1. so i have bought 3 brake pedal rubbers and none of them fit the pedal ;D
one i bought from JK open day last year. they were in a bucket and 20p each so i bought 1 and it didnt fit so thought oh well maybe it was ment for something else.
I read somewhere that the brake pedal is sometimes bigger on an auto so bought a big one from VW Heritage not long after but it was huge and 10 pound i think and probably not even for a bay so it went back straight away after realising my mistake and bought a normal brake pedal rubber from them....... yup dosnt fit!
am i missing something here? i just dont get it ;D
    where can i get one?

  2. Take a pic. of the pedal and the rubber next to it. I can't believe there is a difference in their sizes!

  3. ive got a few of them dont fit ones ,cant remember where i got them but didnt bother ta change my old ones in the end :-.So sorry dont know.

  4. the last ones i bought wernt exactly a great fit and i ended up soaking them in boiling water to stretch them on , still tight to get on but went in the end and hasnt fallen off yet !!!

  5. They are very tight to fit and you'll find they keep falling off

  6. ok cool its not just me then
ill try the soaking and see if that works
as it is now you stretch the hell out of it to get over the pedal and within 1 or 2 seconds its off
id use the original but it didnt have one on
    cheers

  7. ive recently had my pedals powdercoated, then bought new pedal rubbers from schofields.

they are VERY tight to get on, but i put a strip of paracord inside one ond of the rubber, put the other end over the pedal, then pushed the rubber into the pedal whilst pulling the cord.
took 2 mins and they are on solid.

    hope this helps.
