Hi, Just doing an engine service while it is out of the van and when I took out the number 3 spark plug, it looked like it had a bit of oil on it. All the others looked ok. Using a torch, it looks a little oily in the combustion chamber as well. Beginning of a problem? Thanks
My mate at work just asked 'was I cranking the engine over' and I have just realised that I was setting the tappets at the time and the oil on the spark plug did seem to dry out quickly. I am wondering if it was fuel being dragged in from what was left in the float chambers.
