Hi all, Going to give my van a long overdue oil change and thought that while I'm there I would like to give it a new filter and proper tidy up as I have no idea on the last time it was done. Can anyone recommend a good oil filter, or are they all one and the same? Also, I need to go through and sort out my fuel filters, can anyone point me in the right direction of where they are and what one is best? Oh, and while I'm there I want to change the fuel lines, where is the best place to get these and all the appropriate clips etc from? I've got a 1978 2.0l FI bus...
go for a Mahle Oil Filter and you want a square fuel injection filter (like in the kit below) When i was living in the states i bought this kit from here: http://www.germansupply.com/home/customer/product.php?productid=16400&cat=&page=1 not sure if he ships to UK but it is well worth getting if he will. all cut to the right length and the right clips and everything in a handy kit.
