Number 3 not firing on tickover

Try swapping the mixture screw with another to see if the problem moves.

 

I tried this earlier when I got in. I took the idle and main jets out disassembled them and blew them out again then blew down into the body of the carb. Got covered in fuel from the bowl

And it.........






Didn't work. Bugger.

 

Tried this the other day during a 'brain storming' session. But again no bananas.

 

So not screw, you blew the jet. Perhaps idle circuit inside carb is blocked?

 

It has to be this, otherwise the compression tester is coming out

 

I had same with solex twin carb t'other day. Unscrew jet, air line in the hole, full power, petrol everywhere but it cleared it. 120lbs probably a bit more pressure than your can.

 

It is a 500ml can.
