  1. First winter with the bay - he's far from finished so plan on continuing with him when the weather is dry. However, are there any jobs that SHOULDN'T be done in winter?

  2. Spray painting outside is not so good...

  3. Do what everyone else seems to do and save up ALL your jobs for two weeks before your planned & booked camping trip!

Waxoyl doesnt work properly outside as it sets into lumps in the pipes..

If its too windy your hammers will blow away.

But really, even a workable but a bit rubbish paint finish can be achieved with rattle cans to properly protect work done.

  6. I always remove soft furnishings, loose carpet, curtains, bedding etc, and bring indoors for the winter, so it doesn't get damp and mouldy.
