I know weve had carp weather but Im from Lancashire so tbh ive never really known it any different except when I was a kid when summer was either hot , or you were in a thunder storm. I blame Camperjam!

It's a bit off reverse sycology, they always say its going to be a good summer and it's always crap. So if they say it's going to be crap, at least when it's good they can say at least it's better than predicted
Nicely biased reporting by the Sun!! The proper article on the BBC was a lot more informative! They know the wet summers are cause by the warmer Atlantic and the effect on the jet stream, but they cannot predict the warming and cooling cycles as there is no pattern. After 4-6 wet summers, we could have 10 more, but we could also have a warm summer this year... they don't actually know! What worries me is they can't guarantee snow which is what I'd much prefer!
I'm going to camp in the bus in the garage. Nice and dry in there though not much room for the pop top to do its thing. Or I might just make tents in bed with the duvet.
