newbey twinslider for or against

  1. Hi all, I am very tempted in buying a '75 walk through as a day van, am I making the right decission???? All views and suggestions welcome Jeremy

    at the end of the day, it'll be your bus, you do what you want to meet your needs...
     
  7. surely if its a twin slider & if it's a walk through the structural integrity is comprised unless it has additional strengthening if the bulk head has been cut through ?? whichever was round you wanna make sure it's solid underneath.. mates got a twin door & great to have a rhd with a rhd sliding door.

    welcome anyway, i'm not an expert but i remember we had a thread going that if it was a "proper" twin slider there is no wheel well in the rear?
     
  13. Have just made offer for the Bay, hopefully by this time tomorrow the twin slider will be mine. Will put pics up asap, its deffo a work in progress and that gives me 3 projects to play with :-
    Also have a '83 mars red mk1 gti and a '67 1300 beetle in Lotus white (neither on the road)
