Jools Holland..... I love the hootenanny, and I never miss it, where ever I am. Simply superb... Ray Davies!!!! The Proclaimers !!! Even Mel C, my favourite Spice Girl.... You just can't beat the quality of music played, it's almost like all those involved do the best they can because they know it's such an honour to be on the show.. Happy New Year!!!

it's recorded about a week before xmas during the day. Wasnt too impressed with the line up this year, so recorded it and went to bed early.
It's being pushed later every year and this year I fell asleep before it started. I always fancied going along to the recording, but obviously being a mere scrote have no chance. I agree the performers go for it, but it's the one and only chance they ever get to play live on the telly and their peers are the audience so it's not surprising.
