New vacuum wanted for work

  1. Im in the market for a new work vacuum , do you use one at work ,is it any good how much did you pay for it .
    It will be used for cleaning up after working in peoples houses and cleaning out boilers .

  5. I bought a Henry, and I'm afraid to say it was useless. There are better ones out there.

    I love my Henry. Maybe you can get better but it works great for me.

    the main thing with henrys are they are indestructible and if you do break something all the parts are available
    if you are using it on fine dust its worth using a bag in it

  11. Didn't know that, still crap though, just a regular vacuum.

    Alto one is more like but not same as your second link, its real heavy duty.

    The Alto does look good.

  16. They've reduced it to 150 years now. You do get a free Bratwurst lunch at their factory if it does go wrong, however :thumbsup:

    I've actually used the mighty Miele to hoover the garage out in the past. Never missed a beat.

    We've just bought one of mr Dysons cordless jobbies ...got they're bloody good - very manoeuvrable , lightweight and the stuff they get out what we thought was a nice clean carpet was unbelievable - mucky sods
    Could be ideal for boilers , downsides are the battery on lasts around 15min and the cylinder doesn't hold much but very easy to empty ..
