New User, Superhands

    Hi All.

    Just registered as have had enough of certain other forums and have heard good things about this place!

    I may be known to some of you as Goatboy or supergoathands or somesuch. I have a 76 Westy and currently have a 79 Bay tintop that I have just aquired as a project to sell on once it is MOT'd. Then I can get on with sorting the Westy!

    I specialise in fitting leisure batteries and have written a few guides, sold a few kits etc. Always happy to help on that front.

    Anyway, enough waffle, on with the chat!

    Wow - this place is busier than most!

    Thanks for all the kind words and welcomes, looking forward to hanging around here. I have become very jaded with the whole bay scene since i got my T4 daily (instant, cheap, reliable vannage!) but the new bay (which admitedly I have bought to sell on to fund my Westy retoration) will hopefully give me a bit of a boost!

    Welcome to the site
    Finally got around to fitting the leisure battery kit I bought from you at Aprils Techenders, it's great quality thanks for the fitting pics
    I might fit some of those quick clips to by normal battery as I'm having problems with a fancy lit up 3 socket cigarette lighter draining my battery.
    Usefully it shows me how it's draining my battery and the solar trickle charger doesnt keep up

    Just want to point out that I do not sell kits other than to help people out at Techenders which has been a great learning experience for me.

    Sorry if I came off like a trader on my first post, which I am not.
