  1. Brilliant thread good work Mabel !

BTW, because of your avatar, whenever I read your posts, my head is doing it in the style of the chap from the IT Crowd.

  2. Thanks - Maurice Moss is as much of a hero to me as Alan Partridge, Sheldon Cooper and Dr Frasier Crane. Need to think up something equally as absurd for later :)

  3. I am loving the Che Guevara cress picture by the way. have you thought of trying sprouting mung beans? they take about a week and are ace.

Think I might try some myself.

  4. A trip to Tescos beckons methinks - need to go anyway - and may pick up something. Mung beans sound like they should be our Special Forces.

  5. I'm going to try again with soil.

  6. The trick with mung beans is to soak them overnight before you put them in a sprouting tray, I have also done chick peas before now which are the Mr T of the sprout world

  7. Alfalfa may be the way forward... btw I reckon the che image would work on t-shirts, I would be daft enough to wear that.

  8. Well!!!!! In shock cress news despite the going really hard stage its carried on growing and is looking ok.[IMG]
