I'm a mod. It was sold to me as a great way to meet stimulating people and have some all round jolly japes. The song I was told to learn about modding goes thus: It gives me a sense of enormous well Being And then I'm happy for the rest of the day safe in the knowledge there will always be a bit Of my heart devoted to it I quite agree it makes no sense to make me a mod, I suspect it might be a perverse form of social experimentation. Still, just be assured my impartiality can be bought for hard cash, and I believe most disputes can be settled with a Wrestlemania style last man standing fight. Moons ---- The Woolworths of Mods.
Just a casual observation - not trying to wind you up Overenthusiastic modding undoubtably contributed to the demise of JK. I'm sure our lovely, cuddly new crew would never do such a thing...
IIRC it got infiltrated by people with T4/5's who couldn't see any difference between their modern builders vans and an old classic from the 70's and demanded you worship their dogs.
Its to help with the oil questions Heres a pic of morris when he was asked I thought jk died because some guy called hailfrank came on there and poached all the members to a new brighter and better forum I think thats right but i best go back and check the tlb mod hand book
And insisted newbies formally introduced themselves before any techie questions would answered. And described their lunch in great detail.
If he's lubricious enough. Btw the job of a mod is v technical. Has anyone heard of a WUM before? This just dropped into my inbox from 'the Fiftyplus forum' - of which I dont recall being a member. Still, it announced new policing as that sorry bunch has clearly got out of control. Here's how their mods are going to whip the boogers into line... 'WUMs and TROLLs could be one and the same depending on a subjective assessment. It can be difficult to define who is a WUM or TROLL or even if Wumming or Trolling is taking place. The team will use the following behaviour traits to determine what we deem as Troll or WUM behaviour and then we will take the necessary action to rectify such behaviour. - A member posts lots of similar posts with no real thought to who these posts may offend. - A member posts repeatedly on the same subject, ridiculing other members' replies and consistently putting the responders' views down or showing disregard for anyone's else's opinion. - A member makes inflammatory posts in a repeated manner which causes upset and discord among other members. This includes deliberate obfuscation of profanities which contravene rules 7 & 8 as well. - A member goads other members with posts likely to cause responses that may include abusive remarks or severe distress. These are by no means extensive behaviour traits and we may adjust our views accordingly. This topic is NOT open to further discussion and the guidelines are now in effect.' What are they LIKE?!
