Hello My name is Kerrin, and I have recently bought a 1979 t2 camper. I have worked on a few T25's but they had a type 4, Wasserboxer or a turbo diesel in them, so this is my first Bay, and my first type 1 engine. I have joined the forum for general help and tech research on how best to build the interior, and learn the wonders of a bay, so we can enjoy it for years to come.
My other car is a Land Rover Defender 110, so I'm used to welding and mechanical work. Looking forward to getting it tidied up.
These are the photos from the advert, I have taken off the wheel trims, and thrown them in the bin, it's had a good polish and I have fixed a few silly problems, like all the rear light wiring, loose battery, loose wiper arms, and the headlight tha kept falling out.....still need to fix headlights, they flash main beam but don't switch on on high or low beam. Sidelights are working.
Oh yes, I have also put my personal reg on it, and put the new front number plate into the middle and on straight!
