Hi, I am about to pick up the latest edition to the family. 'Burt' is a 79 tin top bay my father in law and I have bought together. He's been sitting in a barn for 10 years after a restoration was started but not finished. He is going to get a total strip down and rebuild, hopefully with a 12 month timeline in time for Busfest next year. This is my second bay, with a 72 being owned previously, when Beetles were more valuable and the good old bay was the cheaper option. If only I'd kept it.... The build thread will start very shortly.
