Hi guys, just thought i would show you some pictures of our pod units. They are made from light weight 15mm furniture board, these ones are made from a teak finish with a cream gloss work top. They are all properly constructed using a timer frame, no plastic connecting blocks here!! The ones we have for sale are ones we made from stock and measure 75cm tall x 63cm wide x 48cm deep. The doors are all cut out by hand and then recessed back into their hole they were cut from, so all graining matches perfectly. Fitted with nickel finished push button catches and have a shelf in the centre. We can make these in any colour finish and style them to your tastes. Heres a picture of them: We have 2 made up the same that you can see in the pictures. Price: £200 each to TLB crew I normally sell these for £250 but have a sale on currently of 15% which brings the price down to just over £210 which is what i am advertising them for on Ebay. They can go anywhere you like, they are predominantly used in the newer T5's etc but they will also fit behind the drivers / passengers bulk head etc. They are designed to simply lift in & out as and when required to save on space & weight. Cheers, Si.
So the backs aren't shaped to fit any particular van? Surely I could buy a cupboard from that scandinavian place that would be as suitable...
Hi Zed, you are absolutely right mate, these particular units are all square & bolt up right in design, they are usually used by the T4 & T5 crew but i have sold a fair few for guys in their splits, bays & wedges too in differing sizes & design. As they are not shaped they can be worked into any available left over space and can also be taken out and put in your awning to free up the vans space once on site etc. Obviously we make correct fitting units to fit each particular camper when we do specific built in interiors, but these have become very popular. But its the same as anything mate, there's always an alternative to any product on the market that could be supplemented for a different type & quality item that was designed for some other use
